first experiments in astrophotography
The galaxy from Kaza, Himachal Pradesh. The composition could have been much improved if I was not too lazy to venture out of my hotel room that night rather than taking it from the window.
Cold deserts offer excellent clear sky for these shots, and Kaza in Spiti valley of the Himalayas is not different. However, too much exposure like this takes the planetary motion into effect, so we see stars as small light trails.
