Old Goa is famous for several churches, including some that are hundreds of years old. Notable among them is the 400 year old Basilica of Bom Jesus, which holds the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier. The basilica is located in the same complex as Se Cathedral, which is the seat of Archbishop of Goa.
