The palace is the main architectural attraction of Mysore town. The day we visited was a weekend immediately after two big festivals – Eid and Ganesh Chaturthi. The place was therefore packed with tourists. However, the crowd was mainly at the entrance to main palace building which has a museum. This side, the front of the palace, was relatively empty and peaceful.
Entry to the palace museum, i.e. main building. The long queue shows how huge the crowd was that day. This is a re-sized 26mp panorama of 4 images.

Close-up panorama of Mysore Palace once again. Will definitely have to come back on a day when crowd would be less, and (hopefully) repairs completed.
